The Pyrenees Snow Report

Good Skiing on Empty Pistes !
Easter skiing is looking good for the coming weekend. Most of the pistes are open and the Pyrenees and have good late snow fall this year. Easter is nevr busy so if you can get on a last minute flight, grab the chance.

Bareges-La Mongie
All sectors are fully open apart from the runs in the Lienz forest (a bit more snow needed here yet). You can ski all the way into the village along the green river run and the links to La Mongie are fully open. Coumbe Long and Coumbe Lyse are great, as is the spectacular off-piste run from the Pic du Midi cable car (2900m).

St Lary Soulan
St Lary is 80% open with lovely skiing down the back of the mountain the the Chalet 'Oule restaurant. The snow park at St Lary 2000 is great fun with a range of 'boarder cross' tracks, bumps and BIG jumps. Pistes are in firm fresh condition.


More snow is forecast in the Pyrenees later this week. Watch this space for further updates !

Happy New Year from the Pyrenees !
We've had a great start to the ski season with lots of snow, deep blue skies and clear cold nights. 90% of the runs in Bareges La Mongie and St Lary Soulan are open in good condition. We have a few properties left for the February half term weeks and some special offers to entice you !
