Telemark skiing is enjoying a revival, fuelled by skiers looking for new challenges. The attraction of Telemark skiing lies in its smoothness and exclusivity. It's not easy and you need to be fit. However, the equipment for telemark skiing is light, it’s great in shallow powder, and you can walk uphill for short distances more easily than with standard ski equipment, so it's perfect for off piste.

Expanded telemark skiing programme
We have expanded our Telemark skiing programme this year and added several new trips. As usual Steve MacDonald and Simon Greenleaf will be heading up the ski teaching but they will also be working with a number of UIAGM mountain guides on our Telemark Off Piste and Ski Touring Programmes.
