St Lary has a number of good hotels, ranging from comfortably functional to luxurious. The ones we have chosen are all within an easy walking distance from the cable car lift which leaves from just behind the centre of the village (see village description). We book hotels on a half board basis so your price includes your room, breakfast and a substantial dinner. You pay separately for your own drinks and lunch can be bought in town or at the restaurants on the slopes.

Hotel Les Arches (two star)
A short walk from the centre of Saint-Lary and 200 metres from the cable car lift, Les Arches is a recently renovated family hotel. Its welcoming log fire is just what you want to see after a long day’s skiing. Ideal for families or couples, the rooms are modern and comfortable. All have en suite bathrooms, hairdryers and TV. There are six family suites in the hotel, but you need to book these early as they are always the first to go. A substantial traditional breakfast is served in the hotel while the evening meal is served across the road in the friendly restaurant at the Mercure hotel.

La Pergola (two star)
This lovely hotel is one of the special things about St Lary and, as a result, difficult to book. There is a choice of room types classified as ‘Montagne’ ‘Cosy’ or ‘Elegance’. The latter are more spacious and both the latter categories have a balcony, but all the rooms here are more than comfortable. The décor is striking, both in the bedrooms and throughout the hotel. The calm atmosphere in the hotel is enhanced by the wonderful mountain views and a large hotel garden stretching out in front of the building. So after a day on the slopes it just remains for you to make the most of the bar and the elegant and highly recommended restaurant downstairs.
La Pergola also offers the possibility for families to have a self contained flat next door, yet still enjoy the convenience of a half board arrangement with the hotel restaurant.

La Mercure (three star)
One of the more modern and large hotels in the village, La Mercure offers everything you need from a ski holiday base. The rooms are spacious and very well equipped and there are several large family suites available.

The restaurant has a very good reputation and the breakfast is an all-you-can-eat buffet to set you up for a day on the hill.
The focal point downstairs is a roaring fire in the middle of the bar - a great place to spend the evening telling tales of snowy adventures while the kids are entertained at the Club d’Enfants every night from 5 ‘til 9 p.m.

La Mercure is also linked to the new thermal baths complex by a direct underground walkway. A full range of massages and treatments are on offer and the Sierra de Guara canyon style baths provide a unique bathing experience.

There are a number of other good hotels in the village with whom we also work. Just give Wendy a ring (or email) and she will get our local team to reserve something that suits your needs and budget.
