In a truly wonderful setting, the village itself is a centre for mountain sports, yet it maintains its friendly and family oriented atmosphere. There’s a variety of accommodation, ranging from small houses in town, to hotels or even converted barns in the forest. Local facilities are ideal for a family holiday with parks, swimming pools and rope courses all within easy reach on foot. With the thermal baths nearby there is also the opportunity for parents to relax and get some peace and quiet.

Pyrenees family activity holiday – what it involves
The family multi activity week offers a choice of hotel or self-catering accommodation. See the self-catering pages or the hotel page for some of the possibilities. There are a number of hotels on offer depending on what you are looking for. All are very central and ideally situated to allow you to make the most of your time in the mountains.

During the week you will get the opportunity to go white water rafting on a nearby river, to throw yourselves down waterfalls whilst canyoning, to go mountain walking and to visit a fantastic forest ropes course before going to see the spectacular flight of the eagles at the Donjon des Aigles.

As well as these activities, if you choose, we can arrange mountain biking for you (providing also local maps and notes to help your route planning), bungee jumping, rock climbing, paragliding and horse riding.

Pyrenees activity and adventure holidays for bespoke groups
If you are part of a group also interested in some of the above activities, whether family or otherwise, we can also tailor a programme to your needs. This can include as many or as few of the activities mentioned as you wish. You could opt for white water rafting or canyoning, do mainly horse riding or mountain biking – or any combination of all the activities mentioned. It’s your choice.
